Opportunity

We are searching for an experienced Finance Administrator to cover a maternity leave for at least 14 months. The Finance Administrator will report to the Director of Finance and will work with the Finance team at our office in Toronto. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Monthly journal entries, adjusting entries, month end closing
  • Preparing monthly HST & corporate tax payments
  • Maintaining Fixed Asset & Depreciation Schedule, Prepaid Schedule and Accrual Schedule
  • Monthly intercompany journal entries (4 companies)
  • Project setup and invoicing of professional fees and expenses
  • Cash management, processing daily receipts and taking deposits to the bank, updating cash flow report monthly
  • Preparing files for year-end review
  • Other projects as required

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' relevant experience
  • University Degree or College Diploma in Accounting
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Team player with ability to work with all levels within the organization
  • Experience using project accounting software (Clearview InFocus or Deltek)
  • Demonstrated experience using MS Office including Word and Excel
